It’s Always Fashion Week Somewhere

The first fashion week was in New York, then in London, NOW in Milan, and next it’s Paris. It sure does feel like it’s always fashion week somewhere. Milan Fashion Week started yesterday with many designers showcasing their Autumn/Winter 2015-2016 collection. With this only being the beginning of the fashion week I can’t imagine what the other designers have in store for us! Make sure to keep an eye out to see what collections these designers have for A/W 15-16 at the Milan Fashion Week Shows that will go on until March 3rd.

There were impeccably cut long coats of patchwork panels in tan, chocolate, and black; fur ones as well; boots with wedge heels that curved black on themselves shown in Fendi's collection.

MaxMara's collection had classic camel tones, sand, mint, powder pink, and chilly blue; fleecy tweeds, cashmere knits, and quilting.

Roberto Cavalli's Just Cavalli collection achieves a combination of revolution and harmony with a Bauhaus mash-up of colour, texture, and print amid Seventies silhouettes. This collection showcases super fuzzy coats, fluffy skirts, cropped kick-flare trousers, bombers and feathers, metallics and lace.

Alberta Ferretti's collection was inspired by portraits from the Renaissance because it depicted strong women with character and personality. The theme of her collection was a wander through history but with a streak of modernity in it, which featured dresses that were pretty and historic, riffling on that folksy princess Valentino vibe, ruffles and frills and flouncy collars.
