This past Tuesday May 31, 2016 Cal Poly students were able to get preview of "Urban Scholar", the apparel line designed and produced by our very own AMM production students! They really embraced the Cal Poly Pomona objective "Learn By Doing" by creating this line start to finish. This was the first time AMM production students did an event to showcase their items and most definitely won't be the last! The line was really well thought out and designed and is perfect for everyday, causal wear. The line includes raglan tees, bomber jackets, joggers, and a duffle bag. Not only were we able to preview the line, but we were also able to enter a raffle for a chance to win one of the items in the line.
In addition, Jamba juice was a sponsor of the event and was giving out free drinks, which were extremely delicious and perfect for the weather! There was an exciting atmosphere created by the apparel line and DJ Alex Yang playing awesome music to pump up the audience.
The Urban Scholar line will be available in the Bronco Bookstore this upcoming week, and then will be sold exclusively at Building 45 Boutique. So do not forget to pick up some fashionable items and support the AMM production students!
